Hello, my name is Juliana. I am a Registered Psychologist with a focus on assessments for both adults and children, including Autism and ADHD. As a certified play therapy, I work closely with children and parents.

My career in psychologist began over a decade ago in Brazil, where is worked with children as a Clinical Psychologist. In 2013, I immigrated to Canada to further my expertise, especially in play therapy, and to deepen my understanding of the unique challenges that immigrant families face. This experience has shaped my practice to incorporate a multicultural perspective, which I apply in my sessions to address cultural and social adjustments, racism, and related challenges that families may encounter.

I specialize in supporting children aged 4 to 12 who experience social, emotional, and behavioural difficulties such as anxiety, attachment issues, low self-esteem, ADHD, autism, oppositional behaviours, depression, OCD, and peer relationship challenges. My therapeutic approach is holistic, considering each child’s physical, emotional, social, cultural, and cognitive well-being. I work collaboratively with parents and caregivers and other professionals to create tailored treatments plans that address the unique needs of the individual and family system. My goal is to provide compassionate, evidence-based care that empower children and families to thrive in all aspects of their lives.

Hi, I’m Polina, a Registered Psychologist with the College of Alberta Psychologists and have been practicing for the past three years. I’ve worked with adolescents, adults, couples, and families. I am passionate about supporting couples and adults and draw from a variety of specialized training to offer effective and intentional care.

My approach is a relational approach, helping clients move toward more meaningful connections. I believe in each person’s capacity for self-determination and their ability to improve their circumstances, providing gentle, supportive guidance to facilitate this process.

I work from a person-centered, narrative therapy lens while also being trained in other evidence-based approaches, such as CBT, EFT, and EMDR therapy. I have experience supporting clients facing challenges such as relationship difficulties, self-esteem issues, life transitions, career concerns, as well as helping clients deal with trauma, anxiety, and depression. I truly believe that, at times, the struggles we encounter in life can silence our passions and voices, but with the right support, individuals can reconnect with a more empowered version of themselves.

Outside of work, I enjoy learning new languages and spending time with my family. I find that maintaining a balance between city living and nature exploration, along with some creative outlets is essential for my inner well-being.
